• Sender-based reputation filtering, each IP address of an incoming message is assigned a score between -10 and +10. Base on the score the filter determines the likelihood of the IP address to be sending spam and allows or blocks the message. The administrator has the ability to configure policies based on the score ranges, i.e. block everything from -10 to -3.
• Throttling technology is a solution unique to the Blocker appliance.  No other SMB competitor has this. This option allows a certain number of recipients, email messages, connections per hour, per day. The idea is that legitimate senders will only send messages in low volume, whereas spammers will send messages in higher volume.
